Sniping

In the sniping technique, we call them up with our caller, and when they are close enough, we get our guns out and start shooting at them.  If we hit him, we start hoooping and a hollering that we got him.  If we missed them, we say “dang.”  If I have a partner hunting with me, he starts laughing at me because I missed him.

The Runs

When we are asleep, we start hear them howling.  We put on our coveralls, and start up those Hondas.  Then we  split up three ways (two on each side and one in the middle).  Whoever finds the coyote will holler on the CB (going “alala coyote” or “COYOTE!!!” or “I see him”).  The others will follow who finds him.
